The choice of the future major updates content of Summertime Saga is submitted to Patreon pledgers’ opinion through polls, usually after the release of a new version. The proposal that received the most votes from the community is retained and added to the roadmap.

Roadmap
The roadmap is already set for the next major updates 0.20, 0.21 and 0.22. Upcoming minor updates are not disclosed. The tracker that monitors the game development is a benefit starting from tier 2 membership.

Content polls
Only tier 2 and higher pledgers are allowed to participate in the polls, each tier conferring one or more additional voting tokens. Tough, the content can be imposed by the team members if the game development requires it. Minor updates are not subject to polling in order to keep their contents confidential until their public releases.
Extra content
The poll was proposed to all contributors on May 12, 2020 and results were announced on May 13, 2020. The question was about the favorite character, for which new scenes may be released.
