The choice of the future major updates content of Summertime Saga is submitted to pledgers' votes, usually at the release of a new one, on DarkCookie's Patreon page. Only tier 2 or higher pledgers are allowed to participate in the polls. Tough, the content can be imposed by the team members if they think it is essential for the development of the game. Minor updates are not subject to polling in order to preserve the confidentiality of their contents until they are publicly released.
